Flexible and active seating has become more and more common throughout classrooms with benefits including increased productivity, motivation, and engagement among students. Teachers have found that once students became more accustomed to flexible and active seating -- which includes standing desks, video rockers, cafe-style stools, and bucket chairs -- behavioral issues improved almost immediately, and because students were more comfortable, they had a better attitude toward learning.
